We design and deliver flexible Microsoft Copilot adoption programmes built around your people, working practices and business objectives. The focus is on helping people understand Copilot, use it with confidence and apply it to the work they actually do.
A four-phase structure that moves from discovery through to full embedding of AI and automation. You do not have to start at Stage 1. We will help you decide where your organisation should begin.
A discovery session explores how Microsoft 365 is used today and where Copilot could add value. A pilot session validates the content, and we agree your key messages on responsible use and AI policy.
Delivered for all or selected staff to create a consistent baseline: AI awareness, safe use, practical skills people can apply straight away and good prompting techniques.
Workflow discovery and use case selection show where Copilot, agents and automation will help most, followed by targeted training for groups of staff and webinars for larger audiences.
Champion groups, drop-ins, refresher sessions, guides and recordings keep momentum going, while we turn use cases into improved workflows, automation and suitable agents.
Microsoft 365 apps with Copilot training can run in tandem with the programme. It is open to all staff, whether they have the basic or premium Copilot licence, and builds speed and confidence in the core apps people use to create, communicate and collaborate.
AI has enormous potential, but Copilot licences and enthusiasm alone do not change working habits. Licences go out, an introduction is run and usage quietly plateaus because people cannot see how it fits into their day. A structured programme gives people the confidence to work with Copilot every day, then focuses adoption where AI, agents and automation can improve real work.
Every programme starts with current practice. A discovery session looks at how information is created, stored, shared and discussed across Microsoft 365 and your other systems, and where Copilot could add value. A pilot session with a small group then validates the content and tailors the examples to your ways of working. We also help you agree the key messages you want colleagues to hear about practical and responsible use of Copilot, in line with your AI policy.
You do not have to start at the beginning. Some organisations are considering Copilot for the first time. Others already have licences and need to lift confidence and usage. Some have run introductory training and now want to develop particular teams. Others are ready for agents and automation. We start by understanding where you are, then help you decide the right next step.
Both the content and the delivery are designed around you. Programmes can reflect your priorities, existing capability, departments, roles, sector, policies and the Microsoft 365 apps your people rely on, using realistic documents and scenarios. Delivery combines discovery sessions, small group training, larger webinars, face-to-face and one-to-one sessions, follow-up clinics, recordings and reusable guides. From beginning to end, we manage the practical side of delivery, including registrations, attendance tracking and post-session evaluation.
Small groups are where most of the learning happens. Sessions are conversational: people ask questions, bring their own work, try prompts, compare results and learn from each other. Copilot is always taught in the context of work, such as client work, meetings, research, document review, analysis and reporting, with professional judgement and human review part of every exercise. For larger audiences, webinars build a shared foundation before people move into smaller practical sessions.
After foundational training, the focus shifts from awareness to practical adoption. Workflow discovery explores departmental tasks, information flows, collaboration patterns and repeated manual work. We then select the use cases where Copilot, agents and automation will help most and design targeted training around actual work practices. Embedding keeps momentum moving: champion groups share good practice, drop-ins and refresher sessions keep skills current and we translate use cases into improved workflows, automation and suitable agents as Copilot matures.
Tailoring should mean more than swapping the examples in a standard course. At Armstrong Watson, the programme covered all four stages: discovery and a pilot, foundational Copilot training for around 670 staff, departmental discovery, Copilot Premium learning built around realistic Client Advisory scenarios and an AI Adoption Framework to keep adoption growing.
These courses are the building blocks of Stages 2 and 3 rather than a fixed ladder. Copilot Essentials builds the shared foundation in Stage 2. Copilot in Practice takes licensed users into their own emails, meetings and documents, while Copilot Agents and Copilot Studio support teams ready for more advanced ways of working in Stage 3. We combine and adapt them around what discovery tells us. Because Copilot runs inside Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams and PowerPoint, Microsoft 365 apps with Copilot training can run in tandem with the programme for all staff, whether they have the basic or premium Copilot licence, so you do not need a separate provider.
Sector matters too, because professional responsibilities and working practices shape how Copilot gets adopted. For accounting firms, that means client reporting, engagement letters, Excel analysis and advisory work. For law firms, it covers matter preparation, document review and correspondence, with confidentiality and professional judgement at the centre. We also work with finance, retail, sales, HR and marketing teams, shaping each programme around the work they actually do rather than adding industry examples to a generic course.

Yes, and this is where a lot of our work starts. Many organisations have licences and an introductory session behind them, but usage has levelled off. We find out how people are using Copilot, where they are getting stuck and which teams would benefit most, then design the next step from there. That might be role-specific sessions for particular teams, follow-up clinics or more advanced work with agents.
Yes. Many of our programmes involve large parts of an organisation. Larger audiences can start with webinars that set a shared foundation, then move into smaller practical sessions built around their roles. Copilot Essentials, Copilot in Practice and Copilot Agents act as building blocks, so different groups start at the right point rather than everyone following the same route. For Microsoft 365 training, we adapt each session to the group's skill level.
Microsoft 365 Copilot operates within your existing security boundary. It respects the permissions already in place, so staff only see content they have access to. Prompts and responses are not used to train AI models and data does not leave your Microsoft 365 tenant. Our training covers responsible use as standard so your team understands exactly what Copilot can and cannot access.
Absolutely. Our training is designed for the people who use the tools every day, not IT teams or developers. If your staff can send an email, they can do our courses. We adapt to every skill level and never assume technical knowledge. That is what makes company-wide rollouts work.
Every participant receives training materials and reference guides to use after the session. For virtual sessions, you receive a recording of the training that your organisation can access for one year. We are also available for follow-up questions to make sure the learning sticks and people can apply what they have learned to their real work.
Yes, if your team already has a solid foundation. We assess this during discovery. Some groups start with Copilot in Practice, some go straight to team-specific work and others need Essentials first to set a common baseline. The aim is that nobody sits through content they do not need.
Copilot Essentials is for everyone. It introduces AI and Microsoft Copilot, builds confidence and teaches practical prompting skills. No Copilot licence required. Copilot in Practice is for staff with premium Copilot licences who want to use AI with their real organisational data, including emails, meetings, documents and SharePoint content. It covers role-specific use cases and advanced prompting techniques.
Yes. We design sessions that work for mixed-ability groups by adapting examples and exercises to stretch everyone appropriately. Complete beginners get the foundations they need while more experienced users are challenged with advanced techniques. If the gap between skill levels is significant, we may recommend splitting into groups, but we will advise on that during discovery.
We design programmes around your organisation rather than selling from a catalogue. Discovery shapes the content, the examples, the delivery format and the pace. Every session is built around the work your people actually do and stays practical and conversational, not a presentation about AI. You work directly with the people who design and deliver the programme, not account managers or subcontractors.
Not necessarily. Copilot Essentials is designed for all staff regardless of licence level, including those using the free version of Copilot. For Copilot in Practice and Copilot Agents, attendees need a premium Microsoft 365 Copilot licence to access the features covered in those sessions. If you are unsure about your current licensing, we can help you figure that out.
Most of our sessions are two hours, which we find is the best length for focused, practical learning without fatigue. We also offer 90-minute sessions and 75-minute bitesize sessions for teams who prefer shorter, more frequent learning. Session length is flexible and depends on what works for your team and the content being covered.
Both, and often a mix of the two. Most practical sessions run on Microsoft Teams, which is flexible, easy to schedule and can be recorded. We also deliver face-to-face across the UK, along with one-to-one development, team workshops, larger webinars and follow-up clinics. We choose the format based on what each part of the programme needs to achieve and agree it with you during discovery.
It depends on what the session is for. Practical, conversational sessions work best in small groups, so targeted training runs with up to 15 people and everyone can ask questions and work on tasks from their own role. Webinars for larger audiences are useful for building awareness and a shared foundation before people move into smaller groups.
